A Wedding and a Baby!

The weekend of December 21 my family decided to drive up to Stillwater for my cousin's wedding.  We planned to just make a quick trip up and back so that we could all be back in Houston for Christmas.  We left Houston Thursday after my Dad was off work so that we wouldn't waste a whole day driving.  After a super late arrival, we all slept in on Friday and spent the day relaxing and playing outside.  Friday evening we were all invited to Sean's rehearsal dinner at Hideaway Pizza.  I had fun visiting with my cousins and of course enjoying the pizza.

Once again, a winter storm decided to blow through while I was in Oklahoma.  This of course caused some issues for people getting to the wedding.  My brother and some other family members were unable to make it.  We also had planned for Micah's parents to come and spend time with us and then they were going to babysit Jake during the wedding.  However, none of that worked out and we ended up just take Jacob to the wedding with us.  Micah spent the wedding in the churches nursery with Jake which worked out pretty well.  There is NO WAY Jacob would have been quiet through the service.  I was able to snap a couple pictures before the ceremony and a couple during.

The reception was at the Stillwater country club and was lots of fun!  They had a dance floor and a DJ that the kids occupied for the first half of the reception.  Jake was hilarious.  He loved dancing so much!  He was a little party animal and danced the night away.

After the reception, the roads were clear but everything else was very cold and icy.  I decided to brave the cold and sit outside with Dad.  Notice the icicles hanging from everything.

Sunday morning we woke up and headed back to Houston.  We made a quick stop in Edmond to see my cousin Seth's new baby boy, Huck.  He was absolutely precious.  Seth and Michelle looked like proud, happy, new parents.
