Hailey 7 months

Hailey's Stats:
Age: 7 months
Weight: 14 lbs 8oz - she gained over 1 lb this month!
Length: 26.5"
Eye Color: deep blue - they are lightening up some but still very blue
Hair color: blonde- she has lost a little bit of her "mullet" and the rest has started to thicken
Clothing:  6 months or 6-9 month
Eating Schedule: Every 3 hours fully on the bottle.  We are eating solids about twice a day.  So far we've had bananapear, sweet potatoes, peas (NOT a fan), some pasta and bread.
Sleeping: She goes to bed around 8:30pm.  We had some jet-lag issues after Bali but she is sleeping through the night.  She is typically waking up between 7-7:30
Other: She now has 2 bottom teeth and I can tell the top two are making their way in soon.  Hailey has discovered her hands more and likes to hold toys and spin them around. Occasionally I even think she is waving.
Talking: Just two days ago she started saying "Dada".  Daddy of course is very proud. She learned how to make a clicking noise with her tongue and goes around clicking.

Activity: Hailey started army crawling all over the house this month.  She recently discovered that she can come find Mom in the kitchen from the play room.  Jacob hasn't been a fan of her new mobility!  She also now can sit unsupported for a while but she hasn't quite figured out that she can't just fall over backwards.  Although she can sit, she still prefers to be on her tummy crawling around.

Personality:  Hailey is still an easy, happy baby.  She goes with the flow and seems to be ok with being taken around everywhere including Bali.  I'm realizing the exercauser is not her favorite and she really doesn't last very long.  I don't think she likes the confinement.  Hailey is very independent and can play in the floor for a long time by herself without crying or being concerned.

Here's our beautiful Hailey Bear!

Sanur Beach: Bali, Indonesia

The second half of our time in Bali was spent in an almost beach front villa on Sanur Beach.  Actually our villa was on a little compound that had its own beach access and chairs set up for us to use.  So nice!  Once again our villa had a private pool and this one was a decent amount warmer so we enjoyed it much more.  Our villa was amazing with 3 large bedrooms and 3.5 baths and each bath had an outdoor shower.

This portion of the trip I didn't have anything planned except for relaxing and enjoying time playing with our kids.  I picked Sanur beach because it has the reef off-shore that breaks up the Bali currents and makes it a better place to swim with kids.  Jacob loved it.  This was by far his favorite part of the trip.  He would wake up every morning saying "Go Swim?!"  Most of our days were spent in our swim suits and we even had food delivered a couple times so we wouldn't have to stop playing. Micah has been wanting Jacob to let him throw him in the pool for a while but Jacob has been to cautious (not a word I typically use to describe Jacob)!  However, all the time in the water and some support and cheering from Mom finally made it happen.   Of course then it never stopped! He would say "Daddy, Fly?" over and over.

I also talked Micah into letting me rent a paddle board on afternoon which was so fun.  Possibly the most fun part was how much Jacob enjoyed riding on it with us. Jacob and I even fell off once together and he just brushed it off, laughed, and hopped back on.  That's my boy!

Personally, I loved all the down time and watching Micah get to relax and play with the kids more than normal.  Jacob enjoyed having his Daddy to play with all day every day as did Hailey.  Since there isn't much to say or describe about this part of our trip, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
