Ever since college, my best girlfriends and I have tried to get together for an entire weekend at least once and sometimes twice a year. We almost always pick Dallas because it is a central meeting place for all of us. It is so much fun to have a weekend with the girls in a hotel where none of us have anything else to do but hang out together. Recently, babies have been added to the group but so far it has still worked out. This time I booked us a Residence Inn so that we could have 2 separate rooms and bathrooms but with a common area to hang out once the boys were in bed. It worked out great!
Liam and Jake had a blast playing around the room and sometimes together. Mostly, Liam just stared at Jake like he was some crazy wild man.
During the weekend we shopped till we dropped, ate some excellent food, stayed up late talking, and had a little too much fun taking our pictures! I can't wait to do it again. Sadly, Christina wasn't able to make it this time and we really missed her. Hopefully next time it can be all of us.
